Setup process using Web GUI

- Before clicking Start Setup read the End User License Agreement.
- Select the wireless network name (SSID) when prompted.
- Enter the Network password or the security key.
- The _Ext suffix will be added automatically to the Network name. You can personalize the Network name, password and security mode of the range extender’s 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Enter them in the required fields. You can also click on Next.
Finding a better spot for the extender
You will now see the spot finder page. This feature determines the signal strength between the range extender and the router.
You can adjust the space between the range extender and the router. For this click the Find a better location button. You can now follow the on-screen instructions. Once you get the best location for the range extender, click Backlink to proceed with setup.
- You can enter the Email Address to register the range extender.

The router should broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. If the router’s 5GHz band is disabled or doesn’t have a feature, the 5GHz settings will be greyed out.

Using reset button
The location of the button may vary with the extender model. Press the reset button on the extender. Hold it for around 8 seconds. You can power cycle the device to complete the reset process.
Via Web-based setup page
Open any compatible browser and log in to the web-based management page of the extender.
- Under the Administration option, click Factory defaults.
- Now, click on the Restore factory defaults option.
- You can complete the process by unplugging the range extender and leaving it off for 30 seconds. Plug the device back into the electrical outlet.
